Himalaya Visit 27 Aug to 02 Sep 2017

It is not a wise decision to visit in Himalayan terrain during rainy season as their is fear of landslide on the roads or even in residential areas, still  decided to travel in rainy season as the time to visit the flower valley is rainy season only.
Reached Haridwar on Sunday 27th and visited to famous Hari ki paudi and spent night at Haridwar.

Monday 28th  started for Badrinath approximately 325 Kms from Haridwar, vehicle travels with speed of 25 Kms per hour only on Himalayan roads, it was around 3 PM when  a long Que of vehicles was seen  on the road as the  road to Badrinath was closed due to landslide, many people were busy for searching shelter to spend night, some of them were returning to closest village to stay, some were preparing to cook their food on the bank of river Alaknanda and planning to stay in their vehicles and wait for the road clearance. Few people decided to go by walk and cross the mountain to reach next village and arrange for further journey. It was
decided to join the people who wants to go by walk. We walked through Himalyan forest on a mountain to reach next village.

With great difficulty it was managed to reach next village and arranged for another vehicle to reach Badrinath, It was  Monday 28th evening  had glimpse of Badrinath.

Monday 29th morning  visited Vyas cave (Sage Vyas is creator of Epic Mahabharata ) and Lord Ganesh Cave (Lord Ganesh is writer of Epic Mahabharata) also the river Saraswati.
